Europ Assistance USA (EA USA), headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, is a part of the multinational Europ Assistance Group and its network of 70 companies, 5,500 employees and more than 850,000 service providers and medical personnel offering assistance services in 208 countries and territories. For close to half a century, the group has tailored solutions for assisting people wherever they may be and helping them respond to the unexpected throughout their daily lives. Services include emergency medical evacuations, medical referrals, case monitoring, claims management, identity theft resolution and data breach response services. Twenty-four hours a day at 36 assistance centers worldwide, multilingual assistance coordinators answer more than two calls per second and handle one assistance case every two seconds.
EA USA began with the mission to provide travel assistance services to its North American customers. Since opening in 1982, EA USA’s concept of assistance has grown to consist of many other services including identity theft, claims management, security, concierge, overseas medical coverage, and employee assistance programs. EA USA’s duty is to provide the highest-quality products and services possible and to quickly and flexibly respond to changing needs of clients and members. Their North American 24/7 assistance center has not closed for one single minute since it opened.
