The Company Behind the Service: SWS Consulting

In 2002 Mike Ward, founder and president of MRW Holdings, developed the first identity theft restoration product.  Mike and staff conceptualized, priced and marketed this program with great success.  This success most notably included securing a contract with Nationwide Insurance for their homeowners’ program which proved to be the most successful secondary product launch in Nationwide’s history.

MRW focused 20+ years in specialty marketing and insurance product development.  As an employee for 10 of those years, Stephanie Scheel, founder and president of SWS Consulting, worked closely with Mike as he developed and priced a number of proprietary (and successful) specialty products. In her role, Stephanie assisted in the development of several specialized marketing plans, helped analyze the competitive landscape and ultimately assisted in successfully taking a number of these products to market. 

As her mentor, Mike inspired Stephanie daily with his creativity and vision.  Sadly Mike’s life was cut short in May of 2008.   It was with Mike’s death that Stephanie’s own specialty product marketing and insurance consulting firm was born.  The guidance and wisdom Mike bestowed on Stephanie is priceless, and she is humbled to perpetuate his legacy.
